Annual Soup Luncheon held February 27, 2011
Baptisms on June 27, 2010
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live in God and God lives in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and they live in God.
Chelsea Young, Brooke Hunt, Taylor Redmon, Samantha Ensor, and Grant VanBoening---God lives in them now, and they live in God!!! Hallelujah!!! Praise God!!!

Soup Luncheon Held Sunday, February 28th.
Sunny weather brought out a nice crowd of over 135 hungry customers to the Paris Presbyterian Soup Luncheon Sunday. The church basement was transformed into a cheery cafe with red checkered tablecloths and napkins. Diners were given a choice of four homemade soups with a sandwich and a wide variety of homemade pies to chose from. The youth group served drinks and also took orders at the carry-out drive through on the north side of the church. Church members worked Saturday in preparation for the luncheon and served in many capacities on Sunday to make the luncheon a success.
Below are snapshots from the two days...
